Mississauga collisions

Peel's process, not Toronto's.

Mississauga is policed by Peel Regional Police, which runs its own Collision Reporting Centres. When your car can’t be driven after a crash, the tow company takes you and the vehicle straight from the scene to a Peel CRC, where staff help you file the report. We handle that trip, then deliver your car to your mechanic, dealer or body shop, with photos and an itemized invoice for your insurance claim.

Ontario law lets you choose who tows your car and where it goes. We always respect that.

Collision reporting

Peel Regional Police reporting centres.

Ontario requires a police report when someone is hurt, when combined damage is over $5,000, or when property is damaged. In Mississauga, minor collisions are usually reported at a Peel Regional Police Collision Reporting Centre, where staff help with the report and photograph the damage.

Injury collisions and some serious crashes need police to attend the scene instead. Highway collisions on the 401, 403, 410 and QEW are handled by the OPP.

We’ll take you to the CRC that’s open and closest, then on to your chosen shop.
